Sound is integral to the tone & atmosphere of visual production

It’s how we feel what we see

I work where sonic meets image, to share how I hear the world

Craft

Immersive, characterful soundscapes are what I love to create.

My aim is to build a sonic atmosphere that works in harmony with visuals. Be that to guide emotions, reinforce themes, or provide a subtle foundation for picture to play atop of.

Understanding how sound should function within a project, and striking that balance, is what I do best.

Studio

I work remotely from my own bespoke studio on Auckland’s North Shore, purpose built and acoustically treated to deliver a reliable mixing environment and clean, professional recordings.

The space is equipped for composition, sound design, and mixing to picture - all for the support of projects spanning short-form content to long-format narrative.

This remote, dependable workflow means high-quality audio, delivered on time, in collaboration with clients anywhere.

Whether the brief calls for bold sonic identity or a subtle supporting layer, my process adapts to best serve the story.

Background

I hold a Bachelor of Music from The University of Auckland, graduating top of class in Music Production.

Alongside sound, my passion for the creative arts is reinforced by my ongoing work as an actor and lifelong musician, with over a decade of writing and performance experience.

My background spans both sides of the camera, having worked in a range of film production roles from Art Director to 1st AD.

This broad creative foundation gives me an intimate, practical understanding of visual storytelling from multiple perspectives - directly informing how I approach composition and sound design.
